Nebraska Police Exams
Bottom-line, most police agencies in Nebraska use the NPOST for their police officer written exam.
You may run across test names like LESI, TABE and NLETC. Let me explain. Testing is done by the NLETC (Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.) NLETC contracts their testing to an outside firm named Morrow and Associates. Morrow recommends that agencies use both the LESI plus the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education). The TABE is simply more basic reading, writing and math. But the LESI is essentially the same as the NPOST today.
Therefore, if you prepare for the NPOST, you will be in good shape.
Applicants still need to double check when they apply to confirm this. Click on the exam link below to learn how best to prepare.
Don’t overlook Federal law enforcement job opportunities.
