Denver Police written test
What is the Denver Police Written Test?
The Denver Police use two different, commercial entry-level exams to evaluate police applicants.
Phase 1 uses the National Police Selection Test (NPST) by FPSI (Fire & Police Selection, Inc.)
In Phase 2, you will take the Frontline National video test. Frontline emphasizes Situational Judgment Testing (SJT). Frontline is administered by National Testing Network or NTN.
Few applicants have ever taken a Situational Judgement Test (SJT) as found on the Frontline exam, so good preparing and practice is critical.
How to Pass the Denver Police Written Test?
The National Police Selection Test (NPST) is a police written exam published by FPSI (Fire & Police Selection, Inc.) The test is used to measure candidates’ ability to effectively work with the public and other members of their department in addition to reading comprehension, writing ability, mathematical reasoning, and reasoning/analyzing skills.
The FPSI NPST Police test includes 120 questions.
The NTN- Frontline exam is a video-based exam that evaluates Situational Judgment.
Applicants must pass each of these sections, e.g. there are two separate scores that must be achieved. Total test time can be as much as 4 hours.
